July has been an eventful and significant month for AZ Group<\/b><\/span>, marking important milestones in the company\u2019s commitment to sustainability, regulatory excellence and alignment with European Union standards.<\/p>

This month, AZ Rendering<\/b><\/span> successfully obtained ISCC EU certification<\/b><\/span> under the Revised Renewable Energy Directive (RED III<\/b><\/span>), confirming compliance with one of Europe\u2019s leading sustainability certification systems for renewable fuels and circular economy value chains. The certification represents an important step in positioning the company within the European renewable energy market and reinforces its commitment to traceability, transparency and sustainable resource management.<\/p>

At the same time, Albania welcomed a mission from the European Commission\u2019s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE)<\/b><\/span>, which assessed the country\u2019s implementation of the EU acquis governing Animal By-Products (ABPs)<\/b><\/span>. As one of Albania\u2019s leading rendering operators, AZ Rendering<\/b><\/span> actively participated in the assessment process, demonstrating its operational practices, traceability systems and commitment to continuous improvement in line with European requirements. The mission forms part of Albania\u2019s broader preparations for EU accession under Chapter 12 on Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>
