The role presents an exciting opportunity for a business-minded and strategy-oriented individual to help drive our expansion and market development. As a Business Development Manager, you will be part of our growing commercial team, working closely with leadership across our group companies during this crucial time of strategic growth.
Based at our headquarters in Tirana, you will be part of a team that serves as the key connection point between AZ Group leadership, our individual companies, and external partners and clients.
You will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, developing client relationships, and ensuring our innovative solutions reach their full commercial potential. You will manage relationships with key stakeholders across multiple industries, coordinating across our companies to ensure successful implementation of our circular economy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across our target industries
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with product development teams to align offerings with market needs
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives to promote our circular economy solutions
- Prepare business cases, proposals, and presentations for potential clients and partners
- Represent AZ Group at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements
- University degree in business, marketing, economics or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably in food, agriculture, or related industries
- Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and closing complex deals
- Strong understanding of sustainability concepts and circular economy principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Albanian and English
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and business units
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach
- Experience working in international business environments is a plus
